This is were the Navajo shop for their daily needs.
This Trading
Post is a general supply store and provides the Navajo a source
for purchase of their artistic creations. Please visit our Native
American Art page to see typical examples of these artisitic creations. Our collection of
Navajo hand woven
rugs is extensive. The Trading
Post also provides many of the tools and material required by these
world famous Teec Nos Pos
Artisans. The store has an extensive supply of books, with
children's books in Navajo and English. The Trading Post is
a unique old fashion trading post source for the Navajo to sell the wool and mohair
harvested from their flocks of sheep and goats.

Our cashiers are courteous and bilingual in English and
Navajo. Many of our customers prefer to speak the Navajo language.

We sell the juiciest mutton in the four corners area. On average, we process 5 to 6 mutton each
week. The meat counter also has pork, sausage, and lunch meats available.

Wool in a wide range of colors is available for weavers and knitters. Many of
the tools used by the Weavers are also available.

Buckskin leather, beads, and a wide variety of Navajo traditional herbs and
smokes are available. Navajo ceremonial buckskins and baskets can also be found at the trading
post.

The Teec Nos Pos Trading Post has much to offer the visitor, as well as
the local Navajo.

We have an excellent supply of Pendleton robes and shawls in a variety of sizes,
up to 64 by 80 inches.
There also is a good supply of other Pendleton products, including purses.
